From 3 to 10 June, Plantation Industries and Commodities Miniters Datuk Peter Chin, will visit the Netherlands, Belgium and the United Kingdom. The first three days Datuk Chin will be in the Netherlands, meetin with Mw. Verburg, Minister of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality and Mw. Cramer, Minister of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment. During his stay in the Netherlands, Datuk Chin will also speak with members of the Dutch Parliament and make a visit to the Unimills palm oil processing plant in Zwijndrecht.

The main purpose of Datuk Chin's visit is to conduct a dialogue with Europe on the production and use of palm oil and the therewith connected subject like food security, biofuels, sustainable production of palm oil and its effects on nature and the environment.
