C3) Visa for business purposes

You will need the following additional documents when applying for a visa for business purposes:

1.       

An original business invitation letter from the Netherlands stating the period and purpose of the business trip. 

2. An original letter from the your company in Malaysia, confirming your employment. The letter also needs to state your itinerary in the Netherlands and the reason for the business trip. 

3.  

Confirmation of who will be paying for the business trip should show in either the invitation letter or the company letter, depending on who will bear the costs.


General Information


The above list is not comprehensive. Additional documents or proof may be requested in individual cases.

Please note that holders of a Schengen visa are still subject to immigration control upon first entry into a Schengen country and are therefore not guaranteed automatic entry, even is they hold a Schengen visa.

Other visas, e.g. for stays exceeding 90 days or for the purpose of taking up any professional activity, remain subject to the national legislation of the relevant country. They must therefore be applied for at the Embassy of the relevant country.
