www.studychoice.nl offers independent information about all HE and university courses taught in English in the Netherlands. The Netherlands offers 150 Bachelor’s courses and 550 Master’s courses taught in English. All the courses mentioned are accredited and have signed the Code of Conduct.

 www.studychoice.nl also allows prospective students to easily compare various courses offered by HE colleges and universities. To make a straightforward comparison, prospective students can select study programmes by area of interest. They can also compare courses in terms of other self-chosen criteria, such as student opinions of lecturers and facilities, the number of first-year students and the size of the university city.

The prospective student selects the courses he or she wishes to see, whether taught in English or Dutch, Bachelor’s or Master’s. In step 1 the courses to be compared are chosen. In step 2 the student chooses the comparison criteria. In step 3 the result is presented in a table which shows immediately which course offers the best fit.

By means of links and news reports, www.studychoice.nl provides additional information about studying in the Netherlands for international students. We do this in cooperation with the Netherlands Organisation for International Cooperation in Higher Education (NUFFIC).

The  www.studychoice.nl website was created under the auspices of the Studiekeuze123 partnership. The representative bodies of the higher education institutions (HBO-Raad, VSNU and PAEPON) and the students' organisations (LSVb and ISO) are jointly responsible for the running of www.studychoice.nl. A panel of experts monitors the quality of the information offered. The project is financed by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and implemented by SURFfoundation (the higher education and research partnership for ICT in the Netherlands).
